چکیده

Dengue fever is an infectious disease of the dengue virus. It becomes a severe problem, particularly prevalent in tropics and subtropical countries. The can make life-threatening illness at any age people. Still, there no definite treatment regimen for infection. Nature vast reservoir precious phytochemical substances that be explored to develop new phytotherapeutics treatment. Using natural resources either directly as pharmaceuticals or structural base chemical synthesis optimize development antiviral agents against dengue. In this paper, we have tried determine therapeutic potentialities some products through in silico study. We had studied inhibitory pattern five components (baicalein, fisetin, fucoidan, hyperoside, β-carboline) envelope protein virus serotype-2. Among components, baicalein β-carboline were potential phytochemicals inhibit early step viral infection after binding with protein. Other did not show satisfactory results. This result will helpful medicines from resources.

Cyclooxygenase‐2 facilitates dengue virus replication and serves as a potential target for developing antiviral agents

Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) is one of the important mediators of inflammation in response to viral infection, and it contributes to viral replication, for example, cytomegalovirus or hepatitis C virus replication. The role of COX-2 in dengue virus (DENV) replication remains unclear. In the present study, we observed an increased level of COX-2 in patients with dengue fever compared with healthy do...

Bioinformatics prediction of siRNAs as potential antiviral agents against dengue viruses

Dengue virus (DENV 1-4) represents the major emerging arthropod-borne viral infection in the world. Currently, there is neither an available vaccine nor a specific treatment. Hence, there is a need of antiviral drugs for these viral infections; we describe the prediction of short interfering RNA (siRNA) as potential therapeutic agents against the four DENV serotypes. Our strategy was to carry o...

An In-Silico Investigation of Phytochemicals as Antiviral Agents Against Dengue Fever

A virtual screening analysis of our library of phytochemical structures with dengue virus protein targets has been carried out using a molecular docking approach. A total of 2194 plant-derived secondary metabolites have been docked. This molecule set comprised of 290 alkaloids (68 indole alkaloids, 153 isoquinoline alkaloids, 5 quinoline alkaloids, 13 piperidine alkaloids, 14 steroidal alkaloid...

Antiviral Activity of Emetine Dihydrochloride Against Dengue Virus Infection

Dengue fever has become a global concern as dengue infections are prevalent in the tropics and the subtropics, and can lead to a severe life-threatening illness. Currently, there is a widespread interest to search for vaccine or antiviral therapy to combat DENV infection. In this study, we have identified emetine dihydrochloride with potent antiviral activity against DENV infection. Emetine was...

Novel antiviral activity of baicalein against dengue virus

BACKGROUND Dengue is a serious arboviral disease currently with no effective antiviral therapy or approved vaccine available. Therefore, finding the effective compound against dengue virus (DENV) replication is very important. Among the natural compounds, bioflavonoids derived mainly from plants are of interest because of their biological and medicinal benefits. METHODS In the present study, ...
